Saturday 23rd July:
Wedding in St.Finian’s: a Canadian-Irish Couple. I have done the ceremony together with Gary, Lutheran Pastor from Canada. And the first time in my life I have been solemniser, what we call “Standesbeamter” in Germany. Good experience. Lovely Couple. Crowded Church.
Lot of work before summer holiday and Conference in Germany: Preparing SummerCamp, writing letters, sorting out papers, making last arrangements with relatives in Germany.
Lovely talks with Martin Wielepp and his wife Doris. Sharing the good and the difficult sides of being Pastor and his wife. Laughter and sharing stories. Martin and Doris cover us, when we are in Germany.
